Choosing Love Again Today

Choosing Love Again Today - Today's Marriage Prayer

Dear heavenly Father,

Thank You for reminding us what real love looks like—not the kind we see in movies or on greeting cards, but the kind that holds steady through the ups and downs of everyday life.

Some days love feels effortless, and other days it takes a little more work. But we know that every moment we choose love, even in the little things, we’re building something strong and lasting.

Help us today to be patient with one another, to be kind, and to let go of things that don’t matter as much as we think they do. Teach us to be quick to forgive, to speak words that build up, and to keep no record of wrongs.

Let our love be the kind that protects, trusts, hopes, and hangs on—even when the day is long or our hearts feel tired. Remind us that love isn’t just something we feel—it’s something we do. Something we choose.

And if today isn’t perfect, that’s okay. Your grace meets us right where we are, and we get to start fresh again tomorrow.

In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

Today’s Bible Verse

[Love] beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.1 Corinthians 13:7, KJV

It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.1 Corinthians 13:7, NIV
