Dear heavenly Father,

Thank You for the gift of walking through life side by side. You never intended for us to carry every weight alone. In marriage, You have given us a companion — someone to help shoulder what feels too heavy.

Teach us to notice when the other is weary. Help us see beyond surface words and recognize the quiet strain that may not be spoken. Give us sensitivity to step in without being asked, and humility to receive help without pride.

Lord, when one of us feels overwhelmed, let the other respond with compassion rather than impatience. Guard us from minimizing struggles or offering quick solutions when what is needed most is understanding.

Shape our marriage into a place where burdens are shared honestly. Keep us from withdrawing when stress increases. Instead, draw us closer. Let us pray over one another, support one another, and stand together in difficult seasons.

Father, remind us that even as we carry each other’s concerns, You are the One who ultimately carries us both. Keep our dependence rooted in You. Let our support of one another reflect the steady care You show toward us.

May our marriage be marked by mutual strength, quiet sacrifice, and enduring compassion.
