Becoming One in Purpose - Today's Marriage Prayer
Dear heavenly Father,
We thank You for bringing our lives together—not by chance, but by Your divine purpose. We ask that You help us to live out that purpose with unity of heart and mind. Teach us to walk side by side, serving You together with the gifts and callings You’ve placed within us both.
When our goals differ or our paths feel divided, remind us that true unity isn’t about sameness, but about surrender—yielding our individual desires so that Your will might be done through us. We ask that You help us to pursue what pleases You more than what pleases self, that our marriage might reflect the beauty of two lives joined in one Spirit.
Lord, may our home become a place where Your purposes are lived out daily—where grace abounds, truth reigns, and love compels us to serve one another faithfully. Let every word we speak and every act of love we share bring glory to Your name.
We ask that You keep us united in calling, steadfast in love, and always ready to follow wherever You lead.
