Break What Needs Breaking - Today's Marriage Prayer
Dear heavenly Father,
We thank You that Your grace does not leave us as we are. We ask that You break anything within us that keeps us from loving faithfully—break our pride, our stubbornness, our hidden idols, and our selfish desires.
Not to wound us, but to heal us.
Not to weaken us, but to free us.
Help us to trust Your loving discipline and to yield to the work You are doing in the deeper places of our hearts.
Lord, may our marriage bear the fruit of a surrendered life.
In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
