Celebrating Each Other’s Strengths –
Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You for the incredible way You have designed us—uniquely gifted, wonderfully made, and brought together to complement each other. In a world that often highlights weaknesses, help us to focus on the strengths You have placed in one another. May we see the beauty in our differences, appreciating the ways we balance and support each other.
Teach us to be encouragers, speaking words of life and affirmation rather than criticism. When one of us feels weak, remind us that You have given the other strength to uplift and carry. When we succeed, help us to celebrate wholeheartedly, knowing that every good thing comes from You.
Lord, let our marriage reflect the beauty of partnership, where each gift is used for Your glory and every strength is honored with gratitude. Keep us from comparison, jealousy, or frustration, and instead, fill our hearts with appreciation and love for the unique way You have made us.
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
Today’s Bible Verse
Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith; Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching; Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness. – Romans 12:6-8, (KJV)

We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully. – Romans 12:6-8, (NIV)
