Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
Lord, in the hustle and bustle of life, we are often guilty of taking Your blessings for granted, focusing on the challenges and overlooking the goodness that surrounds us. But today, we pause, Lord, to deliberately acknowledge and thank You for all things, for the seen and unseen, for the big and the small.
Thank You, Lord, for the gift of marriage, a beautiful testament of Your love for us. It is a sacred covenant, an intertwining of lives, hearts, dreams, and destinies. We give thanks for the joy, the laughter, the shared dreams, the quiet moments, the companionship, and the love that marriage brings.
Even in the trials, we are thankful. For in every test, there’s an opportunity to grow stronger and closer, to learn patience, understanding, forgiveness, and love in its deepest sense. In all things, even in our struggles, we are grateful, Lord, for Your hand is in everything, shaping us into Your image, leading us closer to You and to each other.
