Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
Day after day, we come before You, seeking help, and without hesitation, You listen. With grace and patience, You guide us, offering strength in moments of weakness, and wisdom when we feel lost. You transform our hearts and our marriage, constantly drawing us closer to You and to each other. We see Your fingerprints in every aspect of our relationship, and we are grateful.
You’ve given us countless reasons to be thankful for this marriage, a gift so immense that words often fall short. Today, we want to pause and reflect on the blessings that fill our lives because of this union.
Thank You, Lord, for the gift of my spouse:
For this friend who walks with me through the highs and lows, celebrating joys and holding me through sorrow.
For this intimate lover who knows my heart, quiets my soul, and brings peace into the chaos of life.
For this confidant I can trust more than anyone else, knowing that my heart is safe in their hands.
For this companion who fills my days with laughter, and offers a shoulder when the tears come.
For this partner who holds me accountable, encouraging me to be more like You, sharpening my spirit as iron sharpens iron.
For this ally who prays for me when I am weak, lifting me up in moments of doubt and believing the best in me when I struggle to see it.
For this advocate who defends my honor and protects my heart with gentleness and strength.
For this one who is not just my spouse but the one who is one with my soul, a reflection of Your love and grace in my life.
Help us to always be thankful for each other, to serve each other with humility, and to continue growing closer to You and each other every day.
In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
