Quieting Your Heart – Advent Devotional Bible Study
Over the course of four weeks beginning Tuesday, November 28th, and leading up to Christmas, join me as we journey together through the rich biblical themes of Love, Joy, Hope, and Peace. Each day is a refreshing look at scripture, shedding light on timeless stories ranging from Jacob and Rachel’s enduring love to the inspiring resilience of Paul and Silas.
This advent-devotional Bible study is an invitation to rediscover the profound love of God, revealed in the humble birth of our Savior.
Karissa is also back to bless us each week with her insightful videos. If you would like more information on our study, visit our website.

Embolden Us To Be Witnesses –
Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
We ask that You embolden us to be witnesses of Your grace and truth, not only in words but through our lives, our marriage, and our love for one another. May our relationship be a living testimony of Your goodness, drawing others to Your light. As Acts 4:31 (NIV) says, “After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.”
Grant us wisdom to know when to speak and when to listen, to understand the moments You have prepared for us to share Your story of redemption and love. May our conversations be inspired by Your Spirit, so that our words may reflect Your heart and Your compassion.
In our journey together, strengthen us to face any fear or opposition with the assurance of Your presence. Help us to remember that we are not alone — that You have promised to be with us, to the very end of the age.
We pray for opportunities to share the Gospel boldly, for open doors to speak of Your love, and for receptive hearts to receive Your word. May our marriage be a beacon of Your hope, a vessel of Your truth, and a symbol of Your unfailing love.
In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
Today’s Bible Verse
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God. – 2 Timothy 1:7-8, KJV

For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline. So do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord or of me his prisoner. Rather, join with me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God.- 2 Timothy 1:7-8, NIV
