For Your Enduring Protection – Today’s
Marriage Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for Your enduring protection. Thank You for the many angels that watch over us. We can’t see them with our eyes, but we know in our hearts that Your word is true when it says that You have commanded them to stand guard over us (Psalm 91:11).

Anytime we’re anxious, we’re afraid, or we feel powerless, please remind us that You are sovereign, that the battle is Yours, and that there is only victory in Christ Jesus.

We find safety, peace, and great joy in Your presence, Lord. We’ve seen the strength of Your mighty hand at work in our lives. We know without a shadow of a doubt that You are bigger than any problem we have.

In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Today’s Bible Verse

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. – Psalm 46:1-3, KJV

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. – Psalm 46:1-3, NIV
