Friendships That Have Shaped Us – Today’s Marriage Prayer

I’m using the next month to get our next Bible Study done. In the meantime, I redid one of our older studies The Full Armor Of God. I added more content, better graphics, and thought provoking questions. I won’t be going through this one with you as I want to focus on the new study, but if you are looking for a study to work on during my break, it will keep you busy.

It’s available for free in the members only section of the blog. If you are a subscriber, you can find the link to it at the bottom of the emails you have received.

It’s also available at Amazon. Click here if you would prefer to pick up a copy.

Friendships That Have Shaped Us

Friendships That Have Shaped Us –
Today’s Marriage Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You with grateful hearts for the incredible journey You have orchestrated for us, not only as a couple but also through the friendships You’ve placed in our lives. These friendships have shaped us, challenged us, and mirrored Your love in many ways.

Lord, we pray for the wisdom to nurture these friendships that have been so instrumental in our growth. Grant us the discernment to recognize the lessons You teach us and the strength to support our friends in their times of need, just as they have supported us.

We ask that You help us to grow — to be reflections of Your love in our friendships. May our relationships be grounded in Your truth, flourishing under Your guidance, and always pointing back to You.

In our marriage, let these friendships serve as pillars of encouragement and testimony to Your faithfulness. May we, together, celebrate the joys, bear the burdens, and walk in the grace that these bonds offer.

We ask for Your hand to guide us in being good stewards, to be intentional in our interactions, cherishing and uplifting one another in love.

In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Today’s Bible Verse

And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved. – Acts 2:46-47, KJV

Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved. – Acts 2:46-47, NIV
