Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
Today, we ask for the courage and commitment to follow You wholeheartedly, even if it means giving up everything we hold dear.
Lord, help us to see that true fulfillment and joy come from following Christ. Teach us to value Your kingdom above all else, as Jesus taught in Matthew 19:21: “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.” Give us the strength to let go of anything that hinders our walk with You, whether it be material possessions, personal ambitions, or anything else that distracts us from Your will.
Father, we pray for unity in our marriage as we pursue this calling together. Help us to support and encourage each other as we seek to live out Your purpose for our lives. May we be willing to make sacrifices for the sake of Your kingdom, trusting that You will provide for our every need.
Guide us to use the resources and blessings You have given us to serve others and to further Your work. Let our lives be a reflection of Your love and generosity, showing the world the beauty of a life fully surrendered to Christ. May we be known not for what we possess, but for our faithfulness and obedience to You.
In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
