Guarding Our Words - Today's Marriage Prayer
Dear heavenly Father,
We know that words carry power—they can wound or they can heal, they can tear down or they can build up. In our marriage, help us to choose words that give life.
When frustration rises, give us wisdom to pause instead of speak too quickly. When discouragement creeps in, remind us to offer words of hope and truth. And when joy overflows, may our mouths be quick to praise You and to affirm one another.
Let our conversations reflect Your love, Lord, so that every word spoken between us strengthens the bond we share. May our marriage be a safe place, filled with grace, encouragement, and words that honor You.
