Guarding the Little Things in Our Marriage — Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear heavenly Father,
Your Word warns us about the “little foxes that spoil the vines.” Today we bring before You the small things in our marriage — the unnoticed habits, the careless words, the quiet irritations that can slowly wear away at love if left unattended.
Help us not to overlook the small beginnings of trouble. When impatience creeps into our tone, make us aware. When resentment whispers quietly in the heart, bring it into the light before it grows. Teach us to address small issues with humility and grace before they take root.
Lord, protect the vineyard of our marriage. Let kindness grow there. Let trust take deep root. Let patience and gentleness flourish in the daily exchanges that shape our life together.
Give us wisdom to guard what You have entrusted to us. Remind us that love is often preserved not in grand gestures, but in small, faithful choices made day after day.
Father, help us tend carefully to the life we are growing together. Let us notice quickly when something threatens peace and respond with forgiveness, honesty, and humility.
May our marriage continue to bear good fruit — a quiet testimony of Your faithfulness and care.
