Hearts That Are Attuned To Each Other

Hearts That Are Attuned To Each Other –
Today’s Marriage Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,

We recognize that genuine empathy—the ability to understand and share the feelings of another—is a cornerstone of any strong relationship. Yet, we admit that we sometimes fall short of this goal. Our own worries and concerns can become such towering barriers that we forget to truly see and feel for one another.

Father, we ask for hearts that are attuned to each other’s emotions, pains, and joys. We ask that You give us the discernment to recognize when one of us is hurting and the wisdom to offer comfort in a way that speaks directly to their heart. Equip us with the ability to celebrate their joys as if they were our own, truly rejoicing in their happiness.

May our marriage be a sanctuary, a haven where both of us can come as we are, knowing that we will be loved, understood, and accepted. Make our hearts fertile soil where seeds of understanding can take root and flourish.

In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
