Help Us Bring Out the Best in Each Other - Today's Marriage Prayer
Dear heavenly Father,
We thank You for the way You shape our lives through the love we share. We ask that You help us bring out the best in each other. When discouragement shows up or confidence feels shaken, remind us to offer words that lift, comfort, and strengthen.
Teach us to look for the good You are forming within our spouse—their efforts, their growth, and the quiet ways they show love. Help us to notice those things with gratitude and to speak encouragement that stirs hope. We ask that You guide our words so they build courage instead of doubt, and that our attitudes reflect the patience and gentleness of Christ.
Lord, may our presence be a source of support, joy, and reassurance. When challenges arise, help us stand together with steadfast hearts. When days feel heavy, remind us to lean on You and to remind one another of Your faithfulness.
We ask that You continue growing in us a love that inspires goodness, nurtures peace, and reflects Your grace in every season.
In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
