Help Us Build One Another Up — Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear heavenly Father,
We thank You for the gift of words and the influence they carry in our lives. Your Word calls us to encourage one another and build each other up, and we ask that You help us live this out in our marriage. When we speak, guide our words so they strengthen rather than discourage. Help us recognize the quiet opportunities throughout the day to affirm, to support, and to remind one another of truth. When stress rises or emotions run high, steady our hearts so we do not speak carelessly but with intention and grace. Teach us to notice the good You are forming in each other and to speak it aloud with gratitude and sincerity.
Lord, shape our conversations so they reflect Your heart. Let encouragement become a natural part of how we relate—lifting burdens, strengthening faith, and bringing peace into our home. We ask that You use our words to build something lasting, something that reflects Your goodness and deepens the love we share.
