Help Us Practice Everyday Kindness - Today's Marriage Prayer
Dear heavenly Father,
We thank You for the kindness You continually show us—kindness that restores, encourages, and gently corrects. We ask that You help us practice that same kindness in our marriage, not just in the big moments, but in the simple, ordinary parts of our day.
Teach us to notice the small opportunities to show care: a gentle word when stress is high, a look of understanding, or a moment of patience when we feel hurried. We ask that You help us choose kindness even when we’re tired or distracted, remembering that these small acts often speak the loudest.
Lord, may kindness shape the atmosphere of our home. Let it guide our tone, soften our responses, and remind us that love often grows strongest through the quiet, steady choices we make. Help us to reflect Your heart in how we treat one another, so our marriage becomes a place where kindness is felt deeply and given freely.
In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
