Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, humbled by Your majesty and awed by Your holiness. You alone are worthy of all honor and praise. In the beauty of Your design, You created marriage to reflect Your glory, to unite us as one, and to teach us the depths of Your love.
Lord, as we walk this journey together, remind us that You are the foundation of our covenant. Just as the seraphim cry, “Holy, Holy, Holy,” we lift our voices to acknowledge Your sovereignty over our marriage. Help us to honor You with our thoughts, our words, and our actions toward one another.
Teach us to love sacrificially, as Christ loves the church. When we fall short, remind us of Your grace and renew our hearts to be more like Yours. In moments of joy, may we rejoice in Your goodness. In moments of trial, may we kneel together before Your throne, trusting in Your faithfulness.
Lord, let Your holiness be our example. Purify our hearts, so that we may reflect Your love to the world through the way we cherish and respect one another. Unite us in a bond that cannot be broken, grounded in the knowledge that You are our eternal hope.
Holy, Holy, Holy are You, Lord Almighty. May Your glory fill our marriage, and may we bring honor to Your name all the days of our lives.
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
