In A World Where Brokenness Surrounds Us –
Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You with grateful hearts, acknowledging that You are the God who restores all things to Yourself. Your desire is not to harm us, but to heal, redeem, and renew. In a world where brokenness surrounds us, where hope can feel distant, we trust in Your perfect plan for restoration. Though the world may cry out, “Lord, do You really see what is happening?” we hold fast to the unshakable truth that You are sovereign, holy, and in control of all things.
Lord, as we face challenges in life and in our marriage, remind us of the promises You have made. You have promised to be with us always, to be our refuge and strength, and to work all things together for our good. Help us cling to these truths when we feel weary, unsure, or afraid. Strengthen our faith, Lord, that we may trust Your timing, knowing You are always faithful, compassionate, and just.
We rejoice in the fact that, even in the darkest of times, You shine as a light in this world of despair. Let our marriage reflect that light, pointing others to the hope and peace found in You. May we invest our lives and our union into Your kingdom, knowing that Your hands are the safest place to entrust all that we are.
In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
