This interactive devotional is designed to help us uncover joy, not the fleeting kind that shifts with the winds of change, but a steadfast joy rooted in the faithfulness of God and held steady by His unchanging love.

Each chapter offers a short devotional to encourage your heart, a reading prompt to guide your study, and verse maps—a unique way to help you dig deeper into Scripture. You’ll also find moments of gratitude, practical ways to cultivate joy, and inspiring stories that remind us of God’s goodness.

Each week we’ll cover three chapters of the book, for a total of five weeks.

In Seasons Of Want And Plenty –
Today’s Marriage Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,

In seasons of plenty and in seasons of want, teach us to be content, trusting that You are our provider and our portion. Whether we are walking through days of abundance or navigating challenges that test our faith, may our hearts remain steadfast in You.

Help us to resist the temptation to compare our marriage to others, longing for what we don’t have instead of cherishing what You’ve given us. Remind us that true joy isn’t found in circumstances but in surrendering to Your perfect plan. Grow within us hearts of gratitude, that we might recognize the beauty in every moment—whether it’s in the laughter of today or the lessons of tomorrow.

When trials arise, give us the strength to lean on You and on each other. Let our love be marked by patience, understanding, and a deep appreciation for the life we are building together. Guard our hearts against discontentment, and instead, fill us with peace, knowing that Your grace is always enough.

May we embrace each season of our marriage with faith, trusting that You are working all things for our good. Keep our eyes fixed on You, our source of lasting joy and fulfillment.

In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
