To Speak the Truth In Love –
Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
We ask that You grant us the grace to be transparent with one another, sharing not just our joys but also our sorrows, our victories along with our failures. Let honesty be the cornerstone upon which our relationship is built.
In times when the truth may be difficult to bear, empower us with Your love and wisdom, Lord. May we approach each other with hearts softened by Your grace, eyes that see as You see, and tongues tamed by Your Spirit.
Let Your Word be our guide, Father, as we walk in this life together, adhering to the teachings and values you’ve entrusted to us. Help us to hold each other accountable in love, but also shower each other with grace and forgiveness, as You have so generously done for us.
Finally, Father, make our union a testimony of Your faithfulness. Let others look upon our marriage and see the beauty of truth lived out daily in love.
