Letting Christ’s Peace Rule - Today's Marriage Prayer
Dear heavenly Father,
Your Word tells us to let the peace of Christ rule in our hearts. That’s what we long for in our marriage—a peace that isn’t shaken by stress, disagreements, or outside pressures, but one that flows from You.
When tension rises, calm our hearts with Your presence. When we’re tempted to let impatience or pride take over, remind us that Your peace is stronger than any emotion we feel in the moment. Teach us to listen carefully, speak kindly, and choose unity over division.
Let our home be a place where Your peace settles in every corner. And may the way we love each other reflect the truth that Christ is not only our Savior, but also the Prince of Peace who guards our marriage.
