Love Perfects Faith and Gives Us Hope – Today’s Marriage Prayer
It’s coming… It’s coming… It’s coming… and you’re getting a sneak peek today! Our new Bible study, “Slaying Giants” has been uploaded to Amazon and should be ready today or tomorrow! Assuming that everything goes well on their end, I should have details about the upcoming study later this week. For those who are eager to get started, you might find it on Amazon later today. If you don’t see it there yet, be patient, because it will be there soon.
The topic we’ll be studying (in January) is “Courage.” I’ve had this on my heart for about two years now, during which time we’ve been slaying one giant after another. Losing our company, losing our house, going through the pandemic, and dealing with cancer are just some of the giants Michael and I have conquered by the power of God. Rejoicing together, we see the hand of God at work in our lives, and we know we’re not walking alone. God was with David when he was running from Saul. He was with Moses when he crossed the Red Sea. He was with Joseph in prison. He was with Esther in The Palace of Shushan. He was with Daniel’s three friends in the fire, and He’s with you and me.

Love Perfects Faith and Gives Us Hope –
Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today asking You to protect our hearts and minds from deception. Please don’t allow us to be swayed by secular views or give in to popular opinions of what our marriage should look like.
Your Word is true and just and wise. Your blueprint for marriage is every bit as perfect as it was on the day You designed it.
We hold to the scriptures that tell us that love perfects faith and gives us hope. That we should serve one another in love, giving glory to You.
As difficult as it might be some days, we stand by Your Word, and we faithfully stand by our vows.
In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
Today’s Bible Verse
But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife; and they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. – Mark 10:6-9, KJV

“But at the beginning of creation God ‘made them male and female.’ ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.’ So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.” – Mark 10:6-9, NIV
