Loving Through Every Season — Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear heavenly Father,
Your Word says that a friend loves at all times.
Not only in the easy days,
but in the ones that stretch us.
Teach us that kind of love.
When life feels light, let us be thankful.
When life feels heavy, let us be steady.
And in every season, help us remain present with one another.
Lord, keep our love from becoming dependent on circumstances. When moods shift or pressures rise, remind us that love is meant to remain.
Help us to stay.
To stay kind when it would be easier to withdraw.
To stay patient when frustration builds.
To stay committed when things feel ordinary or routine.
Father, shape in us a love that does not waver with the moment, but rests on something deeper—a love that reflects Your faithfulness.
You have loved us through every season.
Teach us to do the same.
Let our marriage be marked by a quiet constancy—
a love that holds steady,
a love that remains.
