Dear heavenly Father,

We thank You for Your patience with us—for leading us, correcting us, and shaping us with a love that never grows weary. We ask that You make our hearts teachable, both toward You and toward one another. Keep us from becoming hardened by routine or resistant to change. Instead, give us spirits that are willing to learn, to grow, and to be transformed by Your truth.

When we are confronted with our shortcomings, help us to receive correction without defensiveness. When Your Word reveals something that must change, give us the humility to yield. We ask that You remove anything in us that resists Your refining work—old habits, stubborn pride, hidden sin—and replace it with wisdom that comes from above.

Lord, teach us to learn from each other as well. Help us to value the insight, experience, and perspective You’ve given our spouse. May we never outgrow the need to listen, to understand, and to let love reshape us.

We ask that You keep our marriage soft in Your hands—pliable, humble, and ready for whatever You desire to produce in us. May the lessons You teach us draw us closer together and make our marriage a reflection of Christ’s transforming grace.

In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
