Making Time for What Matters - Today's Marriage Prayer
Dear heavenly Father,
Life moves fast. The days blur into each other, and sometimes we realize we’ve been so busy keeping up with everything else, we’ve barely slowed down to connect with each other.
But we know that love grows best in the pauses—in the conversations unrushed, the laughter shared, and the little moments that say, “I see you. I’m here.”
Help us make space for one another—not just when everything else is done, but as a daily priority. Teach us to guard our time together, to turn off distractions, and to enjoy the gift of simply being close.
Let our hearts stay soft toward each other, even in busy seasons. Show us how to check in, how to listen well, and how to create rhythms that keep our relationship strong and full of joy.
Time is a gift. Help us to use it well—with love, with purpose, and always with You at the center.
In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. — Ephesians 5:15–16, NIV
