May Our Hearts Be Aligned With Yours –
Today’s Marriage Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,

Today we come before You, hand in hand, with grateful hearts for the blessing of marriage. We seek Your wisdom in weaving together the unique strands of our lives. Help us, Lord, to embrace the balance that Your grace offers, a harmony that resonates between personal dreams, family responsibilities, and shared goals within our marriage.

Father, may our hearts be aligned with Yours, seeking wisdom and discernment in every decision. Let us not be swayed by the message of this world but rather be led by the gentle whisper of Your Spirit. In all we pursue, may we be mindful of the love and commitment that binds us together.

In our pursuit of individual passions and personal growth, keep our hearts tethered to the understanding that we are one in You. May our personal goals never overshadow our devotion to each other or our family.

In our roles, grant us the strength and patience to nourish the relationships that surround us. Help us to invest in our family, cherishing each moment, yet not losing sight of the love and connection that started our journey together.

Thank You, Father, for Your boundless love and guidance. We trust in Your wisdom, knowing that You hold us in the palm of Your hand.

In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Today’s Bible Verse

Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up. Again, if two lie together, then they have heat: but how can one be warm alone? And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken. – Ecclesiastes 4:9-12, KJV

_______________________

Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor:If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken. – Ecclesiastes 4:9-12, NIV
