May We Always Seek Peace And Pursue It –
Today’s Marriage Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,

We pray for continuing peace in our marriage. Your Word describes peace as wholeness and unity In Christ Jesus our Lord. May we stand strong through the difficult situations we face each day without failing, and be peacemakers in a world that is so in need of peace.

We crave a peace that passes all understanding, Lord. Help us to rest in your will whether we understand a situation completely or not — trusting that You’ll guide the way.

Help us to communicate well, with a heart of understanding and grace—forgiving, forbearing, being long-suffering, and kind.

May we always seek peace and pursue it, striving to put you first in our marriage as we lay down our lives and pick up our cross. 

In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
