Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
We ask You to guide us to be a couple marked by generosity. Sometimes, it’s tempting to hold tightly to what we have rather than release it—to focus on ourselves rather than others.
We pray for hearts willing to let go and hands ready to give. Grant us eyes to see the needs around us and a desire to respond with promptness and compassion. Help us to give freely, just as You have so freely given to us.
Teach us to be generous with our time, sharing it with each other and with those in need. May we also use the resources You’ve provided wisely, so that we may have more to give.
Above all, help us to give from the heart. May our desires align with Your will, resisting temptations that lead us astray. Let generosity flow naturally from us as we seek to follow You together.
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
