Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
We recognize that money can be both a blessing and a challenge, to unite or divide. Today, we ask for Your wisdom to guide us as we navigate the challenges and opportunities it brings. Help us to see beyond the numbers and into the heart of what truly matters—honoring You with the resources You’ve entrusted to us.
Lord, teach us to have open and honest conversations about our finances. When tensions arise, remind us that unity matters more than any budget. May our spending reflect our faith, our saving reflect our trust, and our giving reflect Your boundless generosity. Align our hearts so that our financial decisions become an act of worship, walking hand in hand with Your perfect plan for our lives.
Give us eyes to see the difference between what we want and what we truly need. Teach us to pause, to reflect, and to ask, “Will this glorify God?” when making choices. Help us resist the pull of fleeting desires and instead choose compassion, self-control, and generosity. May every dollar we steward be a tool for growth—both spiritually and in our marriage.
Lord, we know trust isn’t built overnight, but day by day, step by step. Teach us to trust each other and, above all, to trust You. Let our financial unity be a reflection of the deeper unity You’ve called us to—a unity that speaks of love, respect, grace, and unshakable faith in You.
Fill our home with contentment, Lord, not because we have much or little, but because we are Yours. May our gratitude overflow, even in seasons of lack, and may we never lose sight of the joy that comes from walking in obedience to You.
We ask that You guide our hands, our hearts, and our decisions.
