Over the course of four weeks beginning Tuesday, February 20th, join me as we explore the profound significance of the unknown kinsman, uncover the rich symbolism of his shoe, and connect the dots to the Ten Commandments.

We’ll look back at the lives of Biblical characters like Lot, Perez, Judah, and Tamar, seeking to understand their roles in God’s story. Questions like ‘Where does Naomi fit into all this?’ and ‘Why is the timing of these events so crucial?’ will guide our exploration, as we uncover the beauty and depth of these Biblical narratives.

Karissa is also back to bless us each week with her insightful videos. If you would like more information on our study, visit our website.

Negative Thoughts Weigh Us Down

Negative Thoughts Weigh Us Down –
Today’s Marriage Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,

We have all struggled with our thoughts. Negative thoughts and emotions can weigh us down and rob us of our joy. They take us captive and wreak havoc in our lives. Unchecked, they can distance us from You and from one another. Help us to let go of negative thoughts and instead focus on taking all thoughts captive to Jesus Christ.

Remind us to practice gratitude. To reflect each day on those things Your hand has provided. Remind us, Lord, to make time for prayer. Nothing draws us closer and replenishes our joy more completely than time spent in prayer.

When we’re speaking to others, remind us to illustrate the goodness we find in our spouse. As quickly and willing as we can be to defend and justify ourselves, may we be as willing to defend and protect the one we love with the utmost care and diligence.

In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
