Numbering Our Days with Wisdom — Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear heavenly Father,
Your Word teaches us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom. Today we pause and remember that our time together is a gift—one that is not meant to be rushed through or taken for granted.
Teach us to value our days.
In the busyness of life, slow us down enough to notice what matters. Help us to give attention to the moments that often pass quietly by—the conversations, the shared routines, the simple presence of being together.
Lord, give us wisdom in how we spend our time. Guard us from filling our days so full that we lose sight of each other. Help us make room for connection, for listening, and for growing together.
When frustrations arise, remind us how brief our time is. Help us to let go of what doesn’t matter and to hold onto what does. Keep our hearts tender toward one another.
Father, shape our marriage with a quiet awareness that each day is a gift from You. Let that awareness guide our priorities, soften our responses, and deepen our gratitude.
May we walk through our days with purpose, making the most of the time You have given us—together.
