Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
We recognize that life in this world is filled with trials and challenges. As long as we live here, we will face difficulties, but we are reminded that You have called us to remain faithful, standing firm together through all seasons of life. Whether in times of joy or hardship, abundance or need, we are committed to each other, as You designed us to be—faithful partners for better or worse, until death do us part.
In this fleeting world, we know that everything around us can change in an instant. The people we cherish can be taken from us at any time. Our possessions, which we so easily rely on, could be gone tomorrow. Our health is fragile, and we understand that it could fail us at any moment. Even our jobs, which often provide us a sense of security, can be lost unexpectedly. If we relied only on the things of this world, we would be standing on shaky ground. But we praise You, Lord, that our faith is built on the solid rock of Your Word. You are our unshakable foundation.
We thank You for the peace and hope that comes from knowing this world is not our final home. Our future with You is secure, and because of that, we do not despair when troubles arise. Instead, we cling to the promise that You are preparing us for something far greater than anything this world can offer.
When the storm clouds gather and the winds begin to howl, help us to remember that it is by Your strength that we are more than conquerors. Remind us that we do not face life’s battles alone. It is You who sustains us when everything around us feels like it’s falling apart. It is You who speaks peace to the storm, stills the wind, and calms the waves. You are the One who holds all things in Your hands, sovereign and mighty, even when we cannot see the outcome.
In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
