People Who Make Peace - Today's Marriage Prayer
Dear heavenly Father,
We know that life gets loud sometimes. There’s noise all around us—busy schedules, misunderstandings, opinions, stress. And sometimes, that noise finds its way into our home.
But You call us to peace. So today, we’re asking You to help us be people who make peace, not just wish for it.
If we’ve been short with each other, help us soften. If we’ve been distant, help us take a step closer. Remind us that being right isn’t as important as being loving—and that peace often begins with a gentle word or a listening ear.
Let our marriage be a place where Your peace lives. Not a perfect place, but a peaceful one. A place where we forgive freely, speak kindly, and give each other the benefit of the doubt.
Help us carry that peace wherever we go, so that others feel it too.
