Praying Together and Seeking You First — Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear heavenly Father,
Thank You for the quiet privilege of coming before You together. In a world that pulls our attention in so many directions, draw our hearts back to the simple, steady place of prayer.
When our days feel full and our conversations stay on the surface, remind us to go deeper. Teach us to pause before reacting, to bow our heads before making decisions, to invite You into both the small concerns and the larger burdens we carry.
Lord, make prayer the meeting place of our hearts. When one of us feels weak, let the other speak faith. When words are hard to find, let silence before You still bind us together. Give us humility to pray honestly and courage to be vulnerable.
Align us as we seek You. Shape our plans around Your will. Let our home be marked by the sound of gratitude, confession, and quiet dependence. Keep us from drifting into self-reliance. Draw us back again and again to Your presence.
Father, as we seek You first, steady our steps. Let Your Word light our path and Your Spirit guide our responses. May kneeling side by side soften our differences and strengthen our unity.
Let prayer be the place we return to — the place where our marriage is renewed, anchored, and gently reshaped by Your grace.
In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
