Protection Over Our Children –
Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You with humble hearts, asking for Your protection over our children. As they step out into the world, walking on paths both known and unknown, we pray that You will watch over them and surround them with Your love. Lord, just as You parted the Red Sea for Moses and the Israelites, we ask that You clear the way for our children, removing any obstacle that seeks to trip them up.
We pray for a hedge of protection around their hearts and minds, guarding them against all that comes with life’s journey. May Your Word be their compass, always pointing them back to You. Help them to discern between right and wrong, light and darkness, and truth and deception. Clothe them with Your armor, that they might stand strong against the schemes of the enemy.
May Your Spirit be their constant companion, whispering reassurances of Your love and infusing them with the strength to face whatever comes their way. Let their hearts be like fertile ground, receptive to Your Word and eager to grow in Your wisdom. We pray that, in every season of their lives, they choose to walk in Your ways, embracing the values we have nurtured in them.
In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
