Renew Our Desire to Support Each Other - Today's Marriage Prayer
Dear heavenly Father,
We thank You for the privilege of standing beside one another through every season of life. We ask that You renew our desire to support each other with patience, love, and understanding. When one of us feels overwhelmed, help the other to step in with encouragement. When one feels discouraged, teach us to offer words that build up instead of words that weigh down.
Give us hearts that are willing to share burdens, celebrate victories, and walk together through challenges without hesitation. We ask that You help us see beyond our own needs so we can notice when our spouse needs extra strength, extra grace, or simply a listening ear.
Lord, may our support become a reflection of Your faithfulness—a steady presence that reminds us we are never alone. Help us to serve one another with joy, to lift each other with compassion, and to stand together with courage and unity.
We ask that You strengthen the bond between us as we learn to carry life’s joys and trials side by side.
In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
