Rooted and Grounded in Love – 
Today’s Marriage Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you today humbly seeking your guidance and blessings for our marriage. We pray that our love for each other would continue to grow deeper and stronger, rooted and grounded in your love and grace.

We ask that our communication with one another would be characterized by honesty, kindness, and understanding. May we be quick to listen and slow to speak, always striving to put the needs of the other before our own.

We pray that our marriage would be a reflection of the love and commitment you have for your people and that it would be a shining light to those around us. We ask that you would give us the strength and wisdom to navigate the challenges that come with being married, and that we would lean on you when we feel weak.

We pray for your guidance for friends and family, that they would come to know and love you, and that they would be able to see the love and devotion we have for each other.

We give you all the praise and honor, for you are the author of marriage and the sustainer of love. We trust in your goodness and your faithfulness to us.

In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
