Rooted In Your Word - Today's Marriage Prayer
Dear heavenly Father,
In all the noise and rush of life, help us to be a couple who slows down to listen—especially to You. We don’t want to be swept along by emotion or opinion. We want to be rooted in truth. In Your truth.
Teach us to delight in Your Word—not just when it’s easy or convenient, but as a daily rhythm that grounds us. Let Scripture be more than something we read; let it shape the way we think, the way we speak, and the way we love each other.
When decisions are hard or emotions are high, remind us to turn first to You. Let Your voice be the one that leads us, corrects us, and anchors us in peace.
We ask You to grow our marriage like a tree planted by streams of water—steady, nourished, and bearing fruit in its season.
In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
