Dear heavenly Father,

Your Word tells us that the wisdom that comes from above is pure, peace-loving, gentle, and willing to yield. Today we ask You to shape our marriage with that kind of wisdom.

When decisions arise, we ask that You guide our thinking. When disagreements appear, steady our hearts. Help us respond not with pride or stubbornness, but with the humility that welcomes Your direction.

Lord, let purity guard our motives. Keep selfish ambition from influencing our conversations or our choices. Teach us to pursue what is right rather than what simply feels easiest.

Make us peace-loving in our responses. When tension begins to grow, remind us that unity is precious. Help us choose words that calm rather than inflame. Let gentleness guide the way we correct and the way we listen.

Give us hearts that are willing to yield. Remove the desire to insist on our own way when wisdom calls for patience or compromise. Teach us to care more about understanding than about winning.

Father, let the wisdom of heaven shape the atmosphere of our home. May our marriage reflect purity, peace, gentleness, and mercy — the beautiful fruit that grows when Your Spirit leads.

We ask You to guide our thoughts and our responses so that our life together honors You.
