Shape Our Marriage Through Your Truth - Today's Marriage Prayer
Dear heavenly Father,
We thank You that Your truth is not merely information—it is transformation. We ask that You shape our marriage through Your truth today. Expose anything within us that keeps us from loving well: hidden fears, silent assumptions, unspoken expectations, or attitudes we’ve allowed to settle in unnoticed.
Teach us to welcome the refining work of Your Word. When it challenges our thinking, help us receive it. When it reveals a change we must make, give us the courage to respond with humility. We ask that Your truth guide our conversations, purify our motives, and steady our steps so that our love becomes anchored in what is eternal rather than what is temporary.
Lord, may our marriage be a place where truth is spoken in love—gently, wisely, and with a desire to grow. Keep us from shaping our relationship around emotion alone, and instead form us by the truth that sets us free.
We ask that You continue Your work within us, shaping our character, deepening our love, and aligning our hearts with the heart of Christ.
In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
