Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
Your Word reminds us in Psalm 100 to “Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness.” May this call to worship be the anthem of our marriage—a daily reminder to celebrate Your goodness and approach each moment with joy and gladness.
Lord, You know us better than we know ourselves. You understand our needs, our struggles, and our dreams. You see the places in our hearts that long for healing and the areas that need refining. Help us to trust Your perfect care, not only as individuals but also as a couple. Teach us to bring our worries, our victories, and even the smallest details of our lives to You, knowing that You care deeply for every part.
May we learn to worship You not just in moments of celebration but in the quiet and challenging moments too. Let our marriage be a reflection of our joy in You—a light that shines with gladness because of Your faithfulness. Draw us closer to You as we seek to honor You in the way we love, serve, and forgive each other.
Father, remind us to look for Your blessings in the everyday moments—the laughter we share, the strength we find in one another, and the beauty of walking through life together. Thank You for the joy You pour into our lives, even when circumstances try to steal it away. Help us to protect that joy by keeping You at the center of our hearts and our home.
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
