Prepare Him Room: 28 Ways to Embrace the Spirit of Christmas

Hey, ladies! I’d love to invite you to join our upcoming Advent series, Prepare Him Room: 28 Ways to Embrace the Spirit of Christmas. Unlike our usual Bible studies, this one is more of a devotional style that encourages you to slow down and make space for what matters most—Jesus. Each day offers inspiring stories, scripture readings, simple challenges, and questions designed to draw you closer to Christ.

Over the course of four weeks, we’ll go through the book together beginning November 26th. Once again, we will have weekly videos, and printable chapters.

Take a moment amidst the holiday hustle to focus on His presence. Discover practical ways to reflect Christ’s love in your home, relationships, and daily life.

Let’s make this Christmas a true celebration of our Savior.

Slow To Become Angry

Slow To Become Angry –
Today’s Marriage Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You with open hearts, seeking Your help in letting go of any anger or resentment that may linger within us. Lord, we know that holding onto these feelings can create distance between us, clouding the love and unity You desire for our marriage. Help us to recognize the harm of harboring such emotions and to understand the power of forgiveness that comes from You.

Your Word teaches us to be “quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry” (James 1:19). May we take these words to heart, practicing patience and understanding even when we face frustrations. When misunderstandings arise, give us the humility to seek reconciliation and the courage to forgive, just as You have forgiven us.

Lord, soften our hearts and remind us of the love that first brought us together. Help us to see each other with compassion and grace, putting aside any bitterness or offense. Let Your peace guard our hearts and minds, and may we speak to one another with gentleness and respect.

In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Today’s Bible Verse

Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you. – Ephesians 4:31-32, KJV

Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. – Ephesians 4:31-32, NIV
