Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
Lord, we pray that by Your grace we will grow to serve You with all our heart, soul, strength, and mind. That we will love each other above ourselves, so that we may better serve one another.
We don’t want to grow so used to each other that we neglect to be steadfast and unyielding in our love. We don’t want to be so accustomed to living together that we overlook each other’s needs. We want to be deliberate friends and lovers who passionately pursue the very best for one another.
Bring us to a place of dedication and devotion, forsaking ourselves for each other.
In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
