Strength in Times of Waiting - Today's Marriage Prayer
Dear heavenly Father,
We thank You for the seasons of waiting that teach us to trust You more deeply. We ask that You strengthen us as we wait—whether for answers, provision, or change within our hearts. Teach us to wait with faith instead of frustration, with hope instead of worry, and with love that endures through uncertainty.
When impatience rises, remind us that Your timing is never delayed but perfectly aligned with Your purpose. Help us to use the waiting not as wasted time, but as sacred ground where our faith grows stronger. We ask that You guard us from discouragement and keep our hearts steadfast in prayer.
Lord, may our marriage reflect quiet trust in You when life feels slow to move forward. Help us to encourage one another to believe that You are still working behind the scenes—shaping us, refining us, and preparing us for what’s ahead.
We ask that Your peace fill our hearts as we wait, and that our confidence rest not in what we see, but in who You are—faithful, unchanging, and good.
In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
