Striving Together For All That Is Holy –
Today’s Marriage Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,

Please help us to quickly resolve disagreements in ways that are pleasing to you. Give us the ability to overcome and quench our anger. Teach us to grow in humility — to be gentle, and to handle each other with care at all times.

If there is any striving at all, may we be striving together for all that is holy and just.

May we seek to please You more than we seek to please ourselves. May we put aside sin in our lives by Your power and for Your glory.

And may we always choose “we” over “me.”

In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
