In My Father's House
Our newest Bible Study In My Father’s House is now underway.
It’s not too late to join as we see the beautiful work God is doing in His people as He gathers, shapes, strengthens, and prepares us for the eternal home He has promised.
In My Father’s House is a study about belonging, surrender, refinement, hope, and the promise that one day, every child of God will finally be home.

Teach Us to Assume the Best — Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear heavenly Father,
It’s amazing how quickly our minds can fill in the blanks. A short answer. A forgotten errand. A distracted look. Before we know it, we’ve written a story in our minds that may not even be true. And sometimes those stories create distance where there never needed to be any.
Father, help us assume the best about each other.
When we don’t understand, help us ask instead of assume. When we’re hurt, give us the courage to talk instead of quietly pulling away. Remind us that the person standing in front of us is not our enemy, but the one You’ve called us to love. Keep us from assigning motives that aren’t there or allowing little misunderstandings to grow into bigger ones.
Teach us to give each other the benefit of the doubt. Help us remember the years we’ve shared, the faithfulness we’ve seen, and the love that has carried us through so many seasons. Let trust be stronger than suspicion, and grace be quicker than criticism.
Lord, thank You for the patience You have with us. You know our hearts completely, yet You deal with us in mercy. Help us reflect that same mercy in our marriage. May our home be a place where questions are welcomed, where misunderstandings are met with humility, and where love is always given room to believe the best.
In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
