Teach Us to Let Grace Lead the Way — Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear heavenly Father,
We thank You for the grace You extend to us daily—grace that covers our failures, comforts our struggles, and patiently shapes who we are becoming. We ask that You teach us to let grace lead the way in our marriage. When we fall short or disappoint one another, remind us to respond with the same mercy You continually show to us.
Help us resist the urge to hold tightly to frustration or to speak from hurt before seeking wisdom. We ask that You give us hearts willing to forgive, to listen, and to understand. Let grace soften our tone, guide our thoughts, and influence our choices so that peace is preserved rather than broken.
Lord, teach us that grace is not ignoring truth but offering love that creates space for growth. May the grace we give one another become a reflection of Christ’s love—steady, sincere, and patient.
We ask that You shape our marriage into a place where grace is felt daily: in our apologies, in our responses, in our perspective, and in the way we choose to walk together. Let grace lead, Father, so that love can flourish.
In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
