I’m so excited to share my newest Bible study, In My Father’s House.
This 10-chapter study invites women to see the beautiful work God is doing in His people as He gathers, shapes, strengthens, and prepares us for the eternal home He has promised. Through Scripture, we’ll look at Christ as the Cornerstone, believers as living stones, and the Holy Spirit as the One patiently forming our hearts according to the Father’s faithful plan.

Teach Us to Listen Well — Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear heavenly Father,
We thank You for the wisdom found in Your Word. You call us to be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry, and we ask that You teach us to live this out within our marriage. When conversations become difficult or when emotions rise, help us resist the urge to respond too quickly. Give us the patience to truly hear one another—not just the words spoken, but the heart behind them. When misunderstandings occur, guide us to seek clarity instead of assuming intent, and to approach one another with gentleness rather than defensiveness. Teach us to pause, to consider, and to respond in ways that reflect Your wisdom instead of reacting from impulse.
Lord, shape our hearts so listening becomes an act of love. Let our words be measured, our tone be kind, and our responses be guided by understanding. We ask that You strengthen our communication, deepen our connection, and help us build a marriage where both hearts feel heard, valued, and cared for.
In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
