Teach Us to Love With Intention — Today’s Marriage Prayer
Dear heavenly Father,
We thank You for the love You’ve placed in our hearts. We ask that You teach us to love with intention. When days feel rushed or distractions pull at our focus, remind us to slow down and choose what matters most.
Help us to love on purpose—
with words that build,
with patience that steadies,
with kindness that opens doors to peace.
Lord, keep us mindful that love grows through quiet, steady choices. Not in grand moments alone, but in the way we respond, the way we listen, and the way we care when no one else is watching.
We ask that You guide our hearts so our love reflects the sincerity of Christ—a love that notices, a love that serves, a love that endures.
In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
